Campervan and motorhome hire or rental for that special holiday round Europe

Just how long you would need to "do" Europe is anybody's guess but we would hazard a guess at 6 months plus to see most of the sights even briefly, and of course, not many of us have that length of time to spare, so the next best thing is to hire an RV, a motorhome or campervan and take off into the sunshine for as long as we can.

It's only when you get across the channel that you realise what a vast area Europe really is - I mean, France is nearly three times the size of the UK and Spain is bigger still. So where are you going to go?

There's a good case for just popping over the channel and having a couple of weeks travelling round France, probably popping over the border into Spain via St Jean de Luz on the west coast, or just past Perpignan which leads the the Costa Brava, but if you have plenty of time then you could plan a route say from Belgium and go north through the Netherlands, taking in some of the sights of Germany followed by Poland and tour straight on into Kalingrad.

You could then travel northwards again into Lithuania and from there to Latvia where you could have a few days basking on the shores of the Baltic sea.

Time to drive south now into Belarus and the Ukraine before reaching Moldoval, Romania, Bulgaria and down into Greece for another blast of history and culture.

Go north now until the end of the trip, and firstly into Macedonia, Serbia and Bosnia, tunrning east into Hungary before turning west again into Austria and northern Italy before driving right through Switzerland and up the eastern side of France to your channel port.

Of course, when you arrive home and invite all your friends and neighbours round for a drink and to see your photos they are all so impressed that they seriously consider putting off their planned holidays to hire a campervan or motorhome for touring Europe instead.
